75 and Thrive Campaign
The Diamond Delirium Virtual Gala is a part of our 75 and Thrive Campaign. This year we celebrate 75 years in existence. That’s 75 years of shows, productions, and events. 75 years of laughs, tears, and every emotion in between. 75 years of songs, speeches, and soliloquy. We want to celebrate every moment and the fact that we’re still here, after all these years. Even a global pandemic couldn’t stop the miracle of the Forest.
For the Forestburgh Playhouse to continue to operate and entertain audiences from year to year, we need your help. Over the past year, the pandemic has caused us to cancel events, performances, and even our educational programs, all of which makes up a large portion of our income. We have managed to find a way to offer online educational theater programs, but it won’t likely include the same numbers of students we’ve had in the past. In order to stay in operation and continue beyond our 75th year, we need to find a way to raise supplemental income. The 75 and Thrive Campaign was created to encourage our loyal patrons, members of the community, charitable organizations, and anyone who believes in the importance of theater, to donate to our cause and help keep us going.
Not only does the playhouse entertain audiences and provide educational opportunities in theater, but we employ professional actors who depend on the playhouse for their salaries. Our ability to keep going makes it possible for us to provide these opportunities to some of the best and talented actors in the business.
